Privacy & SMS Terms
Last updated: 2026
Momentra Global ("Momentra", "we") provides software that helps venues capture guest contacts and send SMS messages with consent. This page explains, in plain language, how personal information is handled. It is a starting template and should be reviewed by your counsel before launch.
What we collect
- Guest contacts a venue captures through Momentra — typically a mobile number, and optionally a name, email or birthday the guest provides.
- Consent records — the keyword texted, and the date and time of opt-in.
- Message activity — texts sent and received, and delivery status.
- Account & demo requests — the name, venue and email you submit on this site.
SMS consent (CASL)
Momentra is built for Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. A guest joins a venue's list by texting a keyword to that venue's number — this is express consent, and we store the keyword and timestamp. Every message includes a way to opt out. Texting STOP removes a guest immediately, and opted-out contacts are never included in a broadcast. Message and data rates may apply.
How information is used
- To deliver the venue's own SMS program — welcomes, offers, follow-ups and broadcasts.
- To operate, secure and improve the Momentra platform.
- To respond to demo and access requests submitted on this site.
We do not sell personal information. Guest data belongs to the venue that collected it.
Retention & your choices
Contacts are retained while a venue maintains its list. Guests can opt out by texting STOP at any time. To ask what data is held about you, or to have it deleted, contact us below.
